The word Islam comes from the Arabic Aslama, in terms of language, Islam has several meanings, namely:

1. Islam means obedience and surrender to Allah SWT

2. Islam means peace and love mean Islam teaches peace and compassion for all beings.

3. Islam means that Islam is a safe means of safety guide for good living in this world and hereafter.

According to common understanding of Islam is a religion that was brought and taught by the prophet Muhammad SAW. Someone who proclaim themselves as Muslims, must practice the Five Pillars of Islam are five (5) Namely:

1. Pronounce a sentence of two orally spoken creed and believed in the liver

(AN-La ilaha ASYHADU ILLALLOH WA ASYHADU ANNA MUHAMMADAR RASULLULAAH) I testify that there is no god but Allah and I testify that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.

2.Mendirikan a five-time prayers

3.Mengeluarkan zakat

4.Menuanaikan fasting

5.Melaksanakan pilgrimage when it meets the specified requirements.

Islamic Sharia or Islamic Law is the rules set by God Almighty to his servant who has Aqil baliq and sensible. For people who claim Islam, must abide by Islamic lawis explained in the words of God Almighty "We gave you all are in a law or regulation of religious affairs. Obey the rules, do not follow the whims of people who know not" (Surah Al Jaatsiyah , 18)

Islamic Law in outline, include three things:
